Contact— · Each pup has personal contact with both adults and children; · They receive individual attention from the start, as well as group orientation amongst litter mates;
Water and Birds— · Each pup is introduced to both bird and fowl early in life; · Pups are all taken out daily for exercising and play after just 3 weeks of age;
Human Familiarity—
· The pups are handled and taken for walks through light cover and shallow water, to condition them with the routine for future training;
Exposure—
· Small slipped-winged game birds are shown to the puppies as soon as possible.
